I have seven more weeks till my due date...seven more weeks till my whole world turns upside down.

I am huge...like totally boat sized, however, I have gained less than twenty pounds. In fact I lost some weight between my last appointment and today.

So it is our last night in Vegas. Sam's buddy drove in from CO and the two of them have been up to shinanigans. I'm happy Sam's friend is here but he doesn't always bring out the best in Sam. I finally decided to go to go to my room and let the two have fun.

So, my dad is visiting me from California. So far, it has been pretty relaxed and chill. Tommorow we go sledding and Sunday we have brunch then go see "Casablanca" on the big screen at the theater pub. Awesome!

So, everyone keeps asking me "how's married life?" It's a weird question at first because Sam and I have been together for years and living together for a month.

But lately, as the realization that Sam is my life partner...it has been cool. So many "issues" and "baggage" disolve away. I mean...what's he gonna do? Divorce me because I left the milk ( Read more... )

So, I thought I'd update on the honeymoon so far.

We are staying at a pretty nice hotel/resort. The view from our room is pretty nice and we can see the beach.

About a hundred yards, at the edge of hotel grounds, is a popular snorkling beach. We've gone twice...there are a variety of creatures...I swam around with a sea turtle for awhile.

Dear lawd, this was a nutty and emotional week. But the good news is that I put the down payment on my wedding dress. Yay one less thing for me to worry about. Now we just need to find a photographer and we are almost set.

So my trip to California with Sam is almost over. We've gotten so much done! We rode rollercoasters for six hours...we went to the Monteray Bay Aquarium...we visited some of my friends.

I am at "thursday night at the fights" and am waiting for my fiancé, Sam, to fight. He suddenly decided last week he was going to amatuer box. The last time he did this he won. I hope he does so again! Crazy nervous.
